DIRECTOR'S NOTE
I find something deeply cinematic in my dreams. Sometimes I wake up remembering a whole sequence; other times, it’s just a sensation I wish I could return to.
This was one of my happiest dreams. I remember running downhill, feeling the wind, and falling into grass that caught me like a mattress. The warmth of the sun and the smell of damp earth stayed with me.
AI gave me a way to revisit that place and share something that had only existed in my sleep. I wanted the film to preserve the simplicity of that moment: how good it felt to be there.
